I love an overflowing, energetic moment. A photograph saturated with lots of visible happiness. I’m really drawn to these moments. And while these are usually the photographs I put on my social media and website, I know that they alone do not capture the whole essence of a wedding day. By no means are wedding days just a constant long stretch of high energy. There are lulls; moments when it’s just you two, or when few of your guest slip away, when everyone has left the room or when no one has arrived yet. These moments are just as much apart of wedding days as those overflowing super saturated ones, for some reason I just don’t post them as much. So to make sure I’m doing the dynamics of wedding days justice, I’ve piled together some of my favorite photographs that I feel are a bit quieter and a bit slower, but in no way less important.
Quieter wedding day moments
